Yogi Book Club

Yogi Book Club Monthly Membership

Yoga ~ meditation ~ journaling ~ in person community meet ups!

Yogi Book Club is a little bit extra & different to other book clubs, we have a group chat, we go on social outings. Once a month we meet at the studio for a themed yoga class & discuss the book afterwards. This part of the book club is available from the comfort of your own home, if you can’t make it into the studio.

Membership includes:

  • Access to group chat which remains whether you continue onto the next month as the social meet ups are for everyone not just YBC members.

  • Themed to the book yoga practice on the last Friday of the month, accessible in person or on zoom (this will be recorded & sent via email if you miss the live)

  • Themed guided meditation sent to group chat as audio clip.

  • Discussion prompts booklet with contemplations to work through the book at your own pace & journaling prompts.

  • Happy Post, you rarely get anything nice through the post these days so I'm here with my stationary obsession to change that! This can be collected at the in person yoga class or social meet up.

  • Social meet ups decided within the group to visit independent bookstores, cafes for a chat & mooch with like minded people.

All this for £15 for a single month, or £10 per month rolling subscription (minimum 3 months)!

October: Women Living Deliciously by Florence Given.

“A person never looks more beautiful than when they are doing something they love. When, for just a second, I catch a woman off guard – passionately expressing herself, laughing, dancing, forgetting how she looks – it is a glow like no other, an inside-out radiance, a beauty that shines from within.”

Join me this October to dive into Given's latest book. Themes exploring audacity, boundaries, pleasure & our inner radiance. She also looks at shifting the gaze in the mundane everyday for a more positive mindset & discusses her experiences on body image. I chose this book for this month's YBC because of the core theme of rejecting societal expectations. Let's read together & chat it out in the group chat.

November: The Way of Integrity by Martha Beck

The Way of Integrity ~ "At the deepest level, you know what makes you happy and how to create your best possible life. That knowledge is coded into your very nature. But your nature is forever colliding with a force that can tear it apart: culture."

Martha Beck's The Way of Integrity: Finding the path to your true self, is a book I've waited a long time to bring to Yogi Book Club! Beck describes integrity as coming from the Latin word Integer ~ which means undivided & intact. Living with integrity, being a sense of wholeness & living in alignment with the life you derseve. This is one of those books, I had to stop writing down quotes in my notebook because something in almost every paragraph shook me to my core.

🗓️ Yoga & chat ~ November 15th 10.30am-12.30pm

December: Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke

"And please give my husband a spine. I’m tired of him needing to borrow mine."

Sign up for December's Yogi Book Club ~ we're enjoying a festive break with a fiction choice for our next book club selection. Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke, a sharp & darkly funny novel about a glamorous social media lifestyle influencer who performs a perfect traditional life online until she mysteriously wakes up forced to actually live it in 1855.

It is a bold, debate-heavy page-turner that tackles modern motherhood, ambition, & the pressure of online perfection. You will not want to miss the lively discussions it sparks.

Let's dive in & join us for our last book choice of 2026.

🗓️ Yoga & Chat ~ December 6th 1.30-3.30pm

Reviews

“I had the pleasure of attending Stephanie’s Yogi Bookclub at The Studio Wellness in Calderbank, & it was truly a beautiful & enriching experience. The evening was the perfect blend of yoga, breathwork, & meditation, creating a calming & reflective space that set the tone for an insightful discussion.

The chosen book, Wintering by Katherine May, brought such depth to the evening. Stephanie guided us through meaningful conversations, weaving in advice & perspectives shared by others in the group. There was no pressure to share or even to have read the book beforehand, which made the experience welcoming and inclusive for everyone.

The atmosphere was pure comfort—heated floors, soothing scents, and a quiet space to chat or simply chill. Tea and cookies added an extra touch of warmth, making it feel like a true retreat from the outside world.

Stephanie even shared other book recommendations, adding more inspiration for our personal journeys. It’s a rare experience to feel so seen and supported in a community setting, and I’m so grateful for the care & intention Stephanie pours into these evenings.

If you’re looking for a space to reflect, connect, & grow, I highly recommend this event. Everybody winters at one time or another, some winter over & over again.”

"I had my first Yogi Book Club last weekend and loved it. I haven't been making enough time recently for self care and it was just what I needed. I had a great time.. yoga meditation, lovely people and homemade cinnamon rolls!! What more could you want!? Stephanie is wonderful, you can tell she loves what she does and she has a beautiful way of making you feel welcome and safe I will be making "Yogi Book Club" a regular thing, as I felt so good afterwards thanks Stephanie”

"When I seen Yogi Book Club advertised I thought that's an amazing combination and so for me

I loved the session which was so relaxing and in particular enjoyed the visualisation mediation which kept in theme with the book.”

"Yogi Book Club makes my heart happy. As someone who is very introverted I was a little bit nervous to begin with as I don't typically like speaking in front of people but I really really love this gathering of people. There's no expectation to share anything you don't want to and you won't ever be put on the spot you also don't need to have read the book if you want to spend a wholesome evening with a group of likeminded and interesting people you should come along.”
