About the Studio
So you may or may not know this! This cosy studio space, located in the gorgeous Old School brown stone building on Washington Street, is a shared studio space with the Y.A.Y GRLS Alana & Jennifer. Two wonderful supportive, nail technicians who founded Y.A.Y HQ in 2020. In 2025, Alana approached me for some collaboration events (Yoga & Breakfast) & for her wellness & small business club.
Then at the beginning of 2026, as I was planning to take a further step to expand my yoga business & leave my full time role in the NHS, they offered me the shared studio as a home for my events & classes of Stephanie Leské Yoga.
The studio, is open, high ceiling & the natural light streams in the huge windows. The hum of the traffic from the Kingston bridge, becomes wonderful white noise to our yoga practice in class. Despite the high ceilings the studio's heater is pretty fiesty in the colder months reaching 40degrees & a fan for those balmy summer days.
The studio has everything you need to borrow, yoga mats, blocks, blankets, dusky rose bolsters, straps & more on the way. I create my own calendula based essential oils for face & body for the guided gua sha classes. For our myofascial release practices, the studio has MFR balls, & scalp combs too. For craft events & Yogi Book Club events we have tables & chairs.
Comfort is key to me in your experience at the studio, & feedback is welcome. Occasionally there are some renovating going on within the surrounding studio & building, please note, I will always try to minimise disruption to your classes as best I can.
My hope is that this space becomes a home for your yoga practice & it brings you joy & contentment when you roll out your yoga mat.
I hope to create a space that feels safe, welcome & a little whimsical.

Personal choice to bring a journal & pen to practices such as •Move•Meditate•Reflect on Friday mornings as this class is based on the "5am club" morning routine principal. There is time within this class to journal or read your current book after the movement. Also for restorative practices & Vinyasa angry edition due to the kundalini shaking meditation, you may want to scribble down or journal after Savasana for these practices too, but it's your choice.
